Explanation:

The colour palette that has been selected in the ground floor design includes three different colours schemes which are Monochromatic, Analogous and Achromatic colours. In this design pattern we have mainly focused on the Monochromatic colours that include Green pattern, which has been provided to our ground floor design. These are from the Dulux A4 colour, White- SW1 taken from the Dulux Colour Atlas website (Merrifield). Living room should be extremely spacious and the walls of the living room are given with White Vienna, S21F2. The extension of the living room is followed by the dining room, which is promoted with a bench and 6 chairs that could be appealing to a family. Probably a dining room needs to be alluring, soothing, and as delicious to look at and spend time in as the food being served. In fact, bold and rich colour could also be adapted for the walls but since we have painted the living room with the light colour the same is continued for the dining room that could relax the mood of the family while sitting in the chairs. The room should be more convenient to access since the dishes has to be bought, placed and taken for serving as well as the guests should be sufficient to move around. The ideal design will be a seductive combination of soothe and style (Pile, 2009).

In our design we have the kitchen in the basement that has several benefits. The kitchen walls are given with Woohringa, S21A7. This type of design promotes an exclusive opportunity for experimentation which is not accessible in the main-level kitchen(Yang, 2008). Galley type of kitchen set is the most advisable type, for saving the space in the apartment area. This type of tiny set sets along the kitchen wall where the thinks could be easily taken for the purpose. The efficient way of decorating is to add an open shelf for displaying pieces and light-coloured base cabinets promotes extra space to store the kitchen provisions without emphasizing the small layout.

Scheme 2 – Analogous

The study room is the most important place where certain conditions should be followed to choose the best one. The walls of the study face the southern side in the given image. Here we have chosen Winter Squash, S21C3 colour that could give a pleasant feel while looking into it. Normally it belongs to the green family (Frederick, Jonathan & Ricketts, 2009). This could bring calmness to the mind while facing it. Moreover certain ideas are to be maintained for choosing the right work room. There should be an ambient space for learning and moving around. Proper ventilation should be provided that should not be too hot or too cold (Adams, Paul and Karen, 2011). If it’s a too cold then space could be provided for producing heat. Decent desk and comfortable chair that provides flexibility should be arranged.

In our layout we have the bathroom walls painted with Florence, S21F5. The design has a wash basin at the north side with the toilet that has been plumbed on the wall of the building. The two-wall layout could promote us more flexibility where the three wall layout could provide us a versatile design that could be expensive (Suzaan, 2012). This could be very complicated too. Bathroom lightning could be provided with the good ceiling- mounted fixtures or add style and mood with chandeliers or pendant lights. Together with the shower and a tub normally needs to be enclosed with the vapor-proof down lights (Butler & Judith, 2008). Accent lights can spotlight a collection or an architectural feature and contribute sparkle to the mind. The skirting board is given with the colour Korila Quarter, S21F1Q that forms a perfect match with the wall and the ceiling of the room (Park Products, 2008). Altogether these colours are best suited for this particular ground plan, which could be the best for the future family too. We have selected the colour that belongs to green family since green could bring a feel of nature that could make us really pleasant and oxygenated.

Explanation:

In the Analogous scheme pattern we have chosen colours that belong to the orange and yellow family. The walls of the living room and the dining hall are given with the colour coating of Tingle S08H9 that gives a bright appearance. These colours could be best suited when there are many kids in the family. Normally children could love to enjoy these types of bright colours. Then the study room could be coated with Softsun S16H7. We have painted the door with the Forest Retreat S16B8, which forms a perfect match with the yellow colour. Normally the ceilings, skirting boards and architrave are painted with the light colour shades of orange and yellow.

Inspiration:

Achromatic colour scheme deals with designing the rooms with the neutral colours say black, white and gray. These colours do not take place in the colour wheel.

Explanation:

Achromatic colour schemes are really appealing that looks very neat. It has no colours only black, grey and white. The black and white checker board flooring creates a spectacular disparity to the floor and the ground. The rest of the room is a crisp and fresh white, with a black dado decorative tile and black diamond tile placed into the tiles that creates a separate attribute to the walls and lowering the extreme height of the ceiling fairly.
