  • Full time and regular employees in the organization are eligible to receive sick leave and other benefits in such a manner that there will be maximum of 10 days paid sick leave in the entire year
  • Secondly, the part time employees who are working with the respective organization from the hire date in a prorated amount manner with bringing into effect the entire calculation on the basis per hours of service provided by the employees in the organization
  • The sick leave has to be accrued to maximum of more than 120 hours for the different employees who are  working permanently for more than 2 years in the same organization

The different provisions that have to be kept in mind while offering different analysis that is as follows:

  • The sick leave cannot be used prior to accrual
  • If the sick leave is exhausted the annual leave can be used in its place

 Creation of different business cards as well as other promotional products as this will help in distributing the different needs of the customers in an effective manner

 Lastly, potentiality has to be increased in such a manner that this will help the bakery to serve the customer in different parts of the world in an effective manner

 There are different international bakery chains that can be huge competition for Greggs

 There can be different changes in the taste of the different customers in the entire market

 There is unfavorable growth along with different regulations of the government that can deterring the growth of the bakery

 When the demand will be huge in nature, then business might not be able to meet the different requirements of the customers in an effective manner

Importance of HR policies in promoting fairness and equality

From the SWOT analysis that has been conducted on Greggs, The bakers it can be analyzed that the company has different strengths that can be used by them as the opportunities. The core strengths of the company have to be applied in such a manner that this will help the company in reducing the weaknesses and enhancing them as their strengths in the future. The respective company has to equip itself in such a manner that this will help them in enabling their strategies effectively in the competitive market and transform them to generate profit in the market (Armstrong and Taylor 2014).

Furthermore, the opportunities of the respective company have to be applied in such a manner that this will help them in exploring their growth potentials in an effective manner. The growth has to be highlighted by the company as to reduce the threats that can affect their business.  The potentiality is essential in nature, as this will help them in solving the different problems that is affecting their business that includes the different competitors in the competitive market as well (Akyuz, Kaya and Ozgeldi 2015).

From the study of the entire module, I have learnt that there are different differences between the business sectors that will contribute towards the economy. I have understood the meaning of the nationalization of the public services that has been compared with privatization of the public services. I have identified the different stakeholder groups in the university that included the staffs, faculty and students in the university. I have analyzed and learnt the interest/power matrix wherein priority has been given preferences in an effective manner.

Secondly, I have learnt that there are different voluntary groups in the country wherein proper process of funding has been learnt by me. I have learned the servings done by the two voluntary groups in such a manner that this helps us in understanding the different tasks performed by me with the help of different government institutions. I have learnt about the political issues that affects the different voluntary groups and their business are ran by them as per their interest. I have identified the different between the different business sectors in such a manner that these contribute towards the economy in an effective and efficient manner. 

Furthermore, I have learnt about the different Human Resource policies that can be applied in different companies. The different policies related to HR has to be implemented in the company in such a manner that it will help in analyzing the different benefits applicable to employees. I have analyzed the HR policies relating to the sick pay and leave benefit that is compulsory to be applied in different firms.

Different ways to bring in fairness in the organization

I learnt that HR policies relating to sick leave is mandatory to be provided to both permanent and temporary employees who have been working with the organization for a year or so. The different assessments are required to be made by the company in such a manner that it helps the employees to enjoy the different benefits in an effective manner. I have learnt about the HR policy relating to fairness and equality in the workplace that has to be maintained.

The proper equality is required as discrimination can lead to issues in the performance of the employees and affect the productivity of the organization as well. Similarly, I have understood that fairness is required to be maintained in the workplace, as this will help in maintaining peace and unity in the workplace. I noted that the fairness includes proper generation of compensation, sick pay leaves and no discrimination at the workplace. 

I have learnt the usage of SWOT model in an effective manner as this helped me in understanding the different strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the company. From the SWOT analysis of the Greggs bakery, I have seen that there are different threats and weaknesses of the company that can be removed with implementation of the strengths and opportunities in an effective manner. From the analysis, the strengths have been diagnosed and this helped in understanding the different applicability in the bakery business.

From the entire module, I have analyzed that Human Resource policies is essential in nature as this helps in generating proper equality and fairness among the employees in the workplace. I have learnt that fairness and equality has to be maintained in such a manner that this helps in solving the discrimination among the employees in the workplace. Lastly, I feel that Human Resource strategies are essential in different organizations as this helps in maintaining equality among employees. The SWOT analysis is required to be maintained as this helped me in identifying SWOT of the company.
