How do you simplify square root of 128 + the square root of 32?
128 and 32 can further be simplified using the factor tree,
√128 can be simplified to 8√2 and √32 is simply 4√2.
therefore
8√2 + 4√2
= 12√2 [twelve square root of two]
(since the two share the same exact radical, you can add them to get the final answer)
