Project Charter And Management Plan For A Network Upgrade Project – Globex Corporation
1.1 Purpose of Project Management Plan
Globex corporation has been contracted Virtucon Pty Ltd for designing and building the new corporate network for the three offices located at “Albury, NSW”, “Griffith, NSW”, and in Wagga Wagga NSW. The report will be focusing on upgrading the existing system in manner to enhance the production and output for the organization.
1.1 Purpose of Project Management Plan
The purpose of the project management plan is to develop a precise and accurate project plan that will be followed by every individual within the team and manage the operational activities as per the planning. This will be helpful in delivering the project in an efficient and effective manner.
This charter will be highlighting the major constraints of the project that could be followed for the successful and efficient delivery of the project. This charter will be covering scope management, work-breakdown of the activities, timeline, budget, quality assurance, resource management, communication, risk management, and procurement management considering every aspect of the project. These phases of the project should be followed by the project manager in manner to manage the accurate and precise delivery of the project outcomes.
2.1 Assumptions/Constraints
Project manager and human resources will be following the mentioned plan exactly
The risks will be mitigated to the extent level
Resource management will be efficient
The sponsors and donors (Globex) will provide sufficient fundings

3.3 Change Control Management
The purpose of the change control management will be to manage and implement the changes those are necessary for the management and enhancement of the standard and quality of the project.
Change request will be forwarded to the manager or by the manager to the heads in manner to take proper decision-making and highlighting the beneficial aspects of the introduced change. The head of the project will be responsible for approving the requested change and further changes will be implemented and further evaluated.

2.1 Assumptions/Constraints
The project activities will be monitored and evaluated after the execution of the project. This phase will be focusing on comparing and evaluating the implemented operational activities in manner to manage the delivery in an efficient and effective manner. The quality management will be delivered during the delivery of the monitoring and controlling however, the changes being implemented during this phase will be focusing on the enhancement of the quality of the projects. The project deliveries will be continuously monitored in manner to evaluate the quality and thereafter, changes will be implemented considering the enhancement in the standard and quality of the project.
Effective and efficient communication plan will be proposed considering the continuous and regular conversation on the topics related to the ongoing operational activities of the organization. The manager would be emphasizing on the availability of the resources those are necessary for the delivery of the project. Regular communication will be made on the basis of the regular interaction of every stakeholder, once in a week in manner to discuss the ongoing operational activities and the strategies those could be delivered for the ongoing growth and production of the organization. Every stakeholder would be requested to join the meeting and raise their respective issues or point of concerns in manner to be managed by the entire team.
The vital risk throughout the entire project would be the escalation in the budget and timeline those would be impacting drastically in the successful delivery of the project. The identified risk will be minimized to the extent level in manner to make sure that the impact of the risks have been minimized to the extent level.
The identified issues will be solved through the regular meetings between the stakeholders in manner to assure that the issues have been resolved and the project is being delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
