Phoenix Logistics is a freight forwarding company and it has different branches all over the world. It is important for the organization to propose an IT solution for managing the business among all the branches over the world [4]. The absence of proper enterprise management architecture will lead to the mismanagement of the operations for all over the branches of the Phoenix Logistics. Another issue Phoenix Logistics facing is regarding the security issues in the system of online recruitment.

The analysis of the identified issues will help to identify the significance of the enterprise architecture in the organization. In order to this different aspects of the enterprise architecture are needed to be discussed.

Enterprise Architecture principals define the workings of the organization for achieving the goals of the company. There are several principals regarding this context. The strategy consists of the following factors-

Enhancement of the business:  One of the main principal of the enterprise architecture is to enhance the current business process. In order to do this certain modification and improvisation of the Phoenix logistics are needed to be done [3]. In order to do this proper implementation of the information technology is needed to be done based on the requirement.

In case of industrial automation system ISO 15704:2000 is applicable whereas for the guidance of the social responsibility Federal enterprise architecture is applicable.

The organization can be considered as industry which is involved in the supply chain and logistics management.  In this case the industry automation is needed to be implemented [5]. In this situation the happening of the functionality of the system is needed to implement the automation in the logistic system. This will include the automation of the logistic system of the organization. As the organization is associated with the freight forwarding business the automation in the logistic process is needed to be done. Apart from that FEA also recommends the reuse of the existing components in the organization [7]. In this case the reuse of the existing systems of the different department can be reused after the modification and improvisation. The service domain includes customer service, business automation, business management service of the Phoenix Logistics.

The implementation of the proposed solution will have the positive impact on the system of the Phoenix Logistics. This organization can use the enterprise architecture in a certain way. The reuse of the improvised system will help the organization to get the improvised solution along with the mitigation of the overhead cost.  Apart from that the automation in the delivery and the process of the supply chain will help the organization to achieve more productivity in small time span. This will increase the efficiency and the profit of the organization. All these things an be achieved through the implementation of the federal Enterprise Architecture.

It has been found out the use of this architecture will help the organization in different ways. Apart from that the usage of the reference model has been discussed in this context. It can be concluded from the discussion that the enterprise architecture will play a significant role in the improvisation of the business of Phoenix Logistics.
